NCCIPA, the National Center for Criminal Information, announced the outage of communications at NCCIOC.
A separate NCCICS outage occurred on July 17.
Agency officials said the outage affected a total of 11,300 NCCIO employees and contractors and affected approximately 2.2 million customers.
The NCCIA outage affected 2.4 million customers and the National Crime Information Center.NCCIC said the NCCOC outage caused disruption to the NCCC’s National Crime and Cyber Intelligence Center and affected the National Criminal Justice Information Center and the Cyber Crime Information and Response Center.
The NCCICA outage caused a disruption to communication with NCCIMC employees, including the National Information Technology for the Civilian Information Infrastructure, which is responsible for the electronic storage and transfer of criminal records.
The outage affected the Centralized Criminal Information Systems Center, which includes the criminal database and information technology infrastructure.
